Parent Policy

Parent Policy

To help us create a safe, structured, and fun environment for every child, we ask all parents and guardians to follow the policies below.

1. Dress Code

All children must come dressed in proper sportswear for class.

This includes comfortable athletic clothing and indoor sneakers or indoor shoes only.

Please do not send children in sandals, Crocs, dress shoes, or anything that may make movement unsafe.

2. Arrival Time

Children should arrive 10 minutes before class starts.

This time is important for unstructured play, settling into the environment, getting comfortable with the class and instructor, and helping create a smoother transition into the lesson.

Late arrivals can make it harder for your child to adjust and may disrupt the flow of class.

3. Parent Drop-Off and Play Area Policy

Parents are required to exit the play area once class begins.

We understand that some children need time to adjust, and parents are welcome to briefly check in if needed. However, parents should not remain in the class area during instruction unless specifically asked by staff.

Children tend to engage better, build independence faster, and follow instruction more effectively when the class space is led by coaches only.

4. Separation and Comforting Children

We understand that some children may cry or have difficulty separating at first. Our instructors will always do their best to comfort and encourage each child.

However, please understand that we are instructors, not babysitters.

Our responsibility is to lead and supervise the full class. While we will support your child, we must also prioritize the safety and learning of the group as a whole.

Some adjustment is normal, and consistency usually helps children settle in over time.

5. Parent Interference During Class

For the class to run effectively, parents should not coach from the sidelines, interrupt instruction, or step into activities unless invited by an instructor.

This helps avoid confusion and allows children to focus on the coach’s direction.

6. Pick-Up Policy

Parents or guardians must be on time for pick-up at the end of class.

Please be ready to receive your child promptly once class is dismissed.

7. Bathroom Policy

Children should use the bathroom before class whenever possible.

If your location has specific bathroom rules, those rules should be followed at all times.

8. Behavior and Safety

We want every class to be fun, respectful, and safe. Children are expected to follow instructor directions, keep hands to themselves unless part of the activity, treat coaches and classmates respectfully, and participate safely.

If a child is repeatedly disruptive or unsafe, staff may need to pause their participation and speak with the parent.

9. Sick Policy

If your child is sick, please keep them home.

This includes fever, vomiting, contagious illness, or any condition that may put other children at risk.

10. Personal Belongings

Please label water bottles and personal items. We are not responsible for lost or misplaced belongings.

11. Respect for Staff and Program

We ask all families to respect our staff, our space, and our program policies. These rules are in place so we can provide the best possible experience for every child in class.
